This is a great product if you have information you do not want anyone else to access. Just put the information on this drive and if anyone attempts to access the data without the correct password, it will give them 5 attempts and then on the 6th attempt, it will erase the drive (a warning is given before it does so). You also should keep this in a safe, secure place so that it is not easily accessed and password attempts could then erase all of your data. It was very easy to install, just plug-and-play.
