I grew up in a large family consisting of two parents and six kids (five boys and one girl). My siblings and I were very active from a young age and involved in many activities which meant a lot of activities to film. If there wasn’t a football game to record there was a birthday to capture. From the late years of 1980 through mid-2000 my father dedicated much of his time to gather all of these special moments into 60 home videos each over 2 hours in length! Now that all of us siblings are older, one of our favorite things to do together is watch these fond memories and laugh. Being the tech-savy sibling, it was always my tedious responsibility to find the camera, gather the tapes, connect to the TV and monitor the player as we watched. It was enjoyable to watch but not fun fixing the camera when it jammed, or switching the inputs. I did my research and found Lotus Media. I expected not to hear from them for a few weeks to find out that the conversion was completed in TWO DAYS from my package arriving! They provided me with a google drive link and a sample video to make sure I was satisfied. Within the next 12 hours all 60 tapes were uploaded to one, accessible, google drive link. The audio and video were as clear as playing on the camcorder. My father, who dedicated much of his time to recording our childhood, now has these memories at touch of a button.
