For use with an air pump (not included, we recommend a Betta AP-3500). This filter comes with suction cups for mounting on the aquarium glass. Recommended for aquariums up to 200L. This super biochemical sponge filter is a filter that keeps your aquarium clean. The filter sponge provides mechanical and biological filtration for easy aquarium maintenance. As a mechanical filter, it uses the air-driven system to create suction, that allows the sponge to capture floating particles in the water and return filtered water to the aquarium. As a biological filter, harmful wastes are biologically transformed into a relatively harmless substance by aerobic bacteria that accumulates in the sponge.
