This is such a great tank divider. If you read some of the reviews of the mesh dividers, you will see people complaining that after a year some of them start disintegrating and leaving holes in the mesh. There’s zero change that will ever happen with this one. It’s sturdy, hard, very clear acrylic. Worst case, I suppose it might get scratches in it over time. But it’s never going to fall apart and just let fish through. Yes it costs more, but 10 years from now, after you’ve had to buy several of the other, and this one is still standing strong, you will have paid less.Other pros:- Mesh ones often have clips that prevent the tank lid from closing. Not these.- They threw in a fifth suction attachment that has two extra suction cups on it. So even if something goes wrong with those, you have a perfect fitting spare.- It was an absolute perfectly cut fit for my Aqueon 10 gallon tank. Zero adjustments needed; it just immediately worked.Things to be aware of:There is a thin layer of plastic protecting both sides of the acrylic. It may not be obvious to everyone, but those layers need to be peeled off both sides in order for it to be clear. You may need to pick at it a while to get an edge up, but otherwise it pulls off cleanly. The directions do mention the need to remove these layers, but knowing that some don’t read the directions, I thought I would put it here.TLDR; This is has to be the best tank divider out there, and I’m super glad I purchased it.
