Our Peri Peri Spice is formulated to a special recipe we were fortunate to obtain from a retired Mozambiquan fisherman Paulo Das Neves. The key ingredient is the finely ground African Birds Eye Chilli which is blended with Smokey Paprika, Cayenne Pepper, Barbeque base spice and a few other secret ingredients. It has a rating of 5-6 on the Hot Scale because you want to enhance the flavour of your dish with a hint of heat.
