Wow!! This has honestly changed my life. My poor kitty, Oreo (9 years old), had been having bowel issues since May (5 months straight). He was having diarrhea all over the house, and almost always on fabric furniture or carpets/rugs. It was seemingly food related since it began after I changed their food. We spent about $2,000 at the vet on tests, and all we really discovered was that it wasn’t anything serious or life threatening. The vet put him on a prescription digestive food. It marginally helped but not really. Then he mostly just pooped on the tile floor outside the litter box, as a way to say hey I still don’t feel good! Not only did I have to clean up loose stools daily but also cat puke. I have 2 other cats and they were regularly puking. I was going through carpet cleaner soooo fast. I decided to try this food sensitivity test and the results were miraculous! Oreo was sensitive to about 55 different food ingredients. Talk about a high maintenance cat! I scoured the internet for several hours going through cat food ingredient lists trying to find a food that didn’t contain any of his sensitivity foods (and that didn’t cost an arm and a leg). I finally found a food (Sheba wet cat food). The morning before I gave them this food, there were THREE piles of poo I had to clean up. Once I changed the food, the poop problem was COMPLETELY RESOLVED. I’m talking 100% fixed IMMEDIATELY! If anyone scoffs at food sensitivities, well I scoff right back! The results were complete and immediate! I was amazed. I seriously am so thankful!! I know Oreo feels so much better and I’m so thankful that I’m not always cleaning up after him and can just enjoy him. Also the litter box even seems less gross and stinky. Their little digestive systems are functioning so well!At this point he has been on this new food for about 5 weeks. In a few weeks I will begin trying out other foods that contain ingredients he was sensitive to so we can hopefully make our way back to dry foods that aren’t as expensive.Re: the actual test and process- super easy, just pull out a few cat hairs. The little white paper bag you put them in was tricky to find. I didn’t see it at first so make sure you look in each of the envelopes or bags til you find it. Results came in within a few days. Super painless and easy!
