first heard of Chemex when another supplier, Scott’s Butchers,
recommended them about a year and a half ago. Since then, Mark has
provided a level of service unsurpassed by others. As a school we need
to ensure that suppliers adhere to our strict delivery times, Mark does
this and is never more than a phone call away.

I
first dealt with Chemex in a previous restaurant that I was Head Chef
for. They were the existing chemical supplier when I joined and were
very easy to work with. Mark is professional and very hard working. He
has a one-to-one approach that you don’t get with other suppliers and
helps me out with conforming to legislation.
As a Head
Chef, I have to deal with a lot of red tape and Mark has bent over
backwards to provide the relevant COSHH sheets, and even trains staff
out of his normal trading hours.

was already in place when I joined and therefore the automatic choice
for supplier. Mark does everything that we need as a supplier, he
visits on a regular basis at a pre-determined time and is very
professional and methodological. He is easy to approach and always
ready to help resolve any issues.
On a personal level,
Mark is a thoroughly nice chap who eases any problems that occur week
to week, he is very obliging. Mark would be hard pressed to improve
what he does and other suppliers would be hard pressed to maintain the
same standards.
