We hear a lot about MRSA in the UK. but how much do we really know about it?

It is quite a common bacteria and it can live harmlessly on human skin. However, it has become dangerous due to its resistance to antibiotics. MRSA is particularly dangerous for the sick or weak which is why we hear so much about it in hospitals.

MRSA spreads through skin to skin contact. It can also survive on inanimate orjects, particularly on surfaces such as linen, in sinks, floors and even in the mops that are used for cleaning.

Preventing MRSA is all down to effective infection control and good cleaning practice. Chemex Staffordshire do have the products and cleaning programmes that will help to provide effective protection againsts MRSA.
