Husband and wife Bob and Ann Wrigley have teamed up with their son-in-law Andy Carter to provide consultancy, training and hygiene solutions to the fish-processing, catering and healthcare industries in Grimsby, Brigg, Immingham, Cleethorpes and Louth.
Bob, Ann and Andy, who together have 26 years business experience, invested in a franchise with Chemex - Europe’s leading supplier of cleaning and hygiene products – and have set their sights on a target of £350,000 turnover in five years.
They will be offering a tailor-made service to the area’s fish-processing plants, nursing homes as well as leading restaurants, hotels, and bars ensuring they take advantage of the latest hygiene products and don’t fall foul of health and safety laws.
“Whether it is entire hygiene systems for food preparation, large-scale laundry or dishwash systems, or a fully-integrated drains management system we can help and advise our customers to give them peace of mind,” said Andy.
“We have already introduced our products to several fish processing plants, all of which face problems with degreasing and odours, to an extremely positive response.
“We are more than just a chemical delivery service. We offer a strategic service to customers, helping them to tackle specific problems with our Hygiene Control Programme.”
After thoroughly researching the franchise market, Bob, Ann and Andy selected Chemex as a result of its reputation for products that weren’t just highly-effective but recession-proof too.
“We sell necessities not luxuries and therefore they are better suited to riding out the recession that has hit the UK,” said Bob.
