First Impressions
You need to be fairly special person to become a Chemex franchisee. This is not a 'man-in-a-van' operation. The candidates we seek will deal with a broad client base where interpersonal skills and empathy will form the basis of your customer relationships and future expansion. You will be a 'people person' with good communication skills and a burning desire to build a successful business.

We will support you in building a stable and profitable business. We provide comprehensive training to ensure that you deliver the highest standards of customer service both today and in the future. A good franchisor will identify your strengths and weakenesses and work with you on your personal development plan. Whilst sales and management experience is preferred, it is worth mentioning that our top franchisees include a former mining engineer, a hotelier, a farmer and a postman.

Following a process
When you first express an interest in a Chemex franchise we take you through a process which is designed to establish whether or not you are suited to this business. It is essential that we provide you with access to our franchisees in the field and that you are given the chance to meet up with the Chemex management team and head office staff before finally providing you with the opportunity to spend a day with one of our franchisees actually experiencing the job first hand.  By communicating with existing franchisees and spending time on the road with a franchisee you are able to make an informed choice as to whether or not this is right for you before you progress. This is the closest we can get to a 'try before you buy' scenario. Setting up in business is probably one of the most important financial decisions you will ever make. It is essential that we both get this right.
